The IPT7038-LiP is a direct replacement battery for Motorola APX™ 6000, 7000 and 8000 P25 portable radios. Designed and manufactured by IPT, the 7038-LiP is a lithium polymer battery with a guaranteed run time of 20 hours – this battery offers extended run time over the Motorola lithium ion batteries. Also guaranteed are 900 charging cycles – that’s 3x the OEM battery. Our LiP batteries have NO memory effect, increasing the battery life even more. You can recharge your batteries when you want and not have to wait until the current charge is fully drained. These batteries are compatible with Impres1 and Impres2 chargers.
At 150 grams, these batteries are more than 50% lighter than the OEM battery – and can be charged in ANY aftermarket tri-chemistry charger.
